Where We Buy
Velluto publishes destination programs only where it can responsibly advise. The current portfolio comprises 8 regions:
Sourcing priority for the next 12–18 months is deepening a limited number of regional clusters — particularly in Italy — rather than broadening coverage.
How Journeys Are Built
Journey shape
Velluto designs single-country and dual-region itineraries, typically built around one or two anchor properties with private wine and culinary experiences woven through the stay.
Seasonality
European wine regions are proposed year-round, with emphasis on spring and autumn shoulder seasons — including harvest — when access and pace favor the traveler.
Booking approach
Bookings are placed through the Fora Travel host-agency platform and its preferred-partner programs, or directly with suppliers under documented trade terms.
Advance planning
Itineraries are generally planned months ahead of travel, allowing time for private appointments that cannot be arranged on short notice.
A Note on Numbers
Velluto does not publish booking-volume, production, or pipeline figures on this site. When figures are shared with hosted-buyer organizers, they are provided privately, labeled by period and methodology, and completed travel is always stated separately from forward pipeline.
We would rather show you a smaller, documented number than an impressive, unverifiable one. Organizers may request the private dossier at the address below.
What We Look For
- A distinct sense of place — a product that could not be transplanted elsewhere
- Named booking contact, stated response times, and reliable communication in English
- Documented commercial terms: commissionable rate or net rate, deposit and cancellation policy
- Clear product definitions — duration, capacity, inclusions, and who the experience suits
- Practical guest information: transport, accessibility, dietary accommodation, weather contingency
- Recovery readiness — a plan for when the host, weather, or product changes
Inspection visits, stays, and hosted meetings inform product evaluation. They do not guarantee bookings or favorable coverage.
