I started Velluto Travel because I believed the best trips I'd ever taken — the ones that genuinely changed how I saw a place — shared something in common. They weren't about luxury in the obvious sense. They were about access to the right people, at the right moment, with nothing between you and the experience.
My background in wine gave me a framework for this. Coming up as a sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, I learned that the difference between a good bottle and a great one isn't price — it's provenance, context, and the story of the hands that made it. Travel works the same way.
Before founding Velluto, I spent years building relationships across Europe's wine regions — not as a tourist, but as someone trusted enough to be invited behind the scenes. Those relationships became the foundation of this firm. Today, I extend that same approach to every aspect of luxury travel: hotels, guides, experiences, and the thousand small decisions that separate a trip from a journey.
I work with a small number of clients at any time. This is intentional. Every itinerary I design receives my full attention, and every recommendation I make is one I'd stake my reputation on — because I am.

Velluto is an independent advisory affiliated with Fora Travel, with access to Virtuoso’s preferred partnerships at the world’s finest hotels. In practice, that means booking through us costs exactly what booking direct would — and comes with considerably more.

Prestige Vin
Velluto is one of two houses. The other is Prestige Vin, a private wine house whose relationships are with the people who make the wine — producers, cellar masters, and families who have worked the same slopes for generations.
Those relationships are why a Velluto journey can include the appointment that is never offered publicly, the bottle that does not leave the property, and the conversation that happens only between people who already know each other.
The division between us is simple, and both houses describe it the same way: Prestige Vin holds the palate and the standard. Velluto holds the hotels, the logistics, and the responsibility for everything in between.
